BOLDNESS in a "Negative" World: How to Engage a Hostile Culture

We live in an American culture that is divided, and many are hostile to the gospel of Christ. How can we faithfully engage the lost? Pastor Tim Keller advocated this approach and has influenced many within conservative Reformed evangelicalism to abandon what he calls the far-right fundamentalists and the far-left progressives, and to create a new middle, or third way, that values being winsome, non-combative, nuanced, and more focused on winning over liberals and progressives to the gospel. This model MAY work in some cases, but if we live in a negative world, there may be a better strategy or way forward. However, there is another model: The bold, unapologetic John the Baptist model.
