Book Situation “Toilet (T)Issues #3: The Elephant in the Room (and Different Ways to Deal with it)” with Liz Allan, Ying Que, Ferdiansyah Thajib and Yolande van der Heide Liz Allan is an editor, artist, and writer, whose words extend to poetry, subtitles, and by way of voice. She is a member of the art collective AtCS, and is most recently co-constructing a queer space called Tender Center Rotterdam. Allan is managing and copyeditor of Unlearning Exercises: Art Organizations as Sites for Unlearning. Yolande van der Heide is deputy director at Casco Art Institute: Working for the Commons, where she began as an intern in 2008. Casco Art Institute is a member of the Arts Collaboratory network with a focus on collective governance. Ying Que works freelance as cultural producer, facilitator, and organizer, in art, culture, and education. With a background in anarchist anthropology, her practice draws from curatorial and artistic research and is firmly based in collaborations with artists and activists. She's interested in feminist and decolonial pedagogies, cultural activism and sound. Ying was part of the Casco team from 2012–16 working on community and project and is currently active in the collectives Read-in and Niet Normaal*. Ferdiansyah Thajib is a member of KUNCI Cultural Studies Center, Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and a Phd Candidate at the Institute for Social and Cultural Anthropology, Freie Universität Berlin. KUNCI is a member of the Arts Collaboratory network with a focus on collective governance.
