Boomer and the Babe - Exploring Faith w/ John Maher

  Today's guest, Chuck Fitzgerald, provides oversight for many of the Faith-Based & Community Initiatives for the Arizona Department of Economic Security, including: Governor Brewer's Arizona SERVES Initiative, Community Network Teams, the Arizona Council on Faith-Based and Community Initiatives, the Community Connect and on Purpose e-newsletters and the Community Impact Leadership Academy.   As a volunteer with the Peoria Rotary Club, Chuck provides community leadership development education across the state.  He has written a beginner's guide to bird watching, and is currently working on a book about community, connectedness and his own journey as The Community Guy.  Chuck and his wife Susan have lived in Peoria since 1992; they worship and serve at Vineyard Church of North Phoenix; they have three children, six grand-children and a labrador retriever named Kate.
