Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film stars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, with Shah Rukh Khan in an extended cameo. The film, officially titled, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, will be the first of a proposed trilogy of films as part of a new cinematic universe called the Astraverse. It is produced by Karan Johar and features  Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni,  Mouni Roy, and Dimple Kapadia in supporting roles. Law & Order adds Mehcad Brooks for season 22 Popular procedural drama TV series, Law and Order, has added Mehcad Brooks to its cast for the upcoming season 22. Brooks previously essayed the role of Jimmy Olsen in the popular superhero TV series, Supergirl, and he will be replacing Anthony Anderson in Law and Order. It will be Brooks’ second outing in the Law and Order franchise after he played a different character named Prince Miller in an episode of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2011.  Untitled Netflix romantic comedy announces star-studded ensemble  Filmmaker Richard LaGravenese is set to write and direct a romantic comedy film for Netflix. The untitled project will feature Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, and Joey King in lead roles. The plot will revolve around a young woman working for a popular movie star who struggles to balance her personal and professional life while she comes to terms with her identity.  Lady Gaga in talks to star in sequel to Joker The sequel to the critically acclaimed and award-winning movie Joker could feature Lady Gaga playing the role of Harley Quinn. The pop star and actress are in early talks with the makers of the film. Titled  Joker: Folie à deux, the sequel will see Joaquin Phoenix reprising his role as the Clown Prince of Crime aka the Joker. Todd Phillips will helm the project. Netflix announces reality series on The Squid Game Days after announcing the second season of the globally hit series Squid Game, Netflix greenlights a reality show based on the series. In the ten-part series Squid Game: The Challenge, participants from all over the world will compete in a series of games to win a cash prize of 4.56 million dollars, the largest amount of money announced for a reality show.  The Lincoln Lawyer renewed for second season The Lincoln Lawyer, the hit series based on Michael Connelly’s book The Brass Verdict, is set to return for a second season. Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell, Becki Newton, Jazz Raycole, and Angus Simpson will reprise their roles in the second season, which will be based on Connelly’s The Fifth Witness.
