BREAKING NEWS: WSU Removes Goncalves et al to Federal Court

Here we provide pure opinions, comments, and speculation concerning the lawsuit styled as Goncalves et al v. Washington State University, a civil action filed by the parents of the four students lost at 1122 King Road and related to the high profile criminal case of Idaho v. Kohberger. On January 27, 2026, WSU represented by the Attorney General of the State of Washington has removed the lawsuit from state to federal court where the action is now proceeding.
