Brenda is  he founding co-director of the non profit “Ascend Women.” Brenda is mostly known for the 8 years she played Ashley Abbott on the CBS daytime drama, “The Young and the Restless.” She was the opening act for Lionel Richie, and was signed with Sony/TriStar music. She loves God, her family, animals, chocolate and is passionate about helping people.   Shelley Anderson Myers is a HuffPost Guest Writer and podcast co-host for “Morning Cup of Faith.” She started her career in the literary department at the Creative Artists Agency. A former Associated Press writer and a freelance journalist, Shelley is a graduate of the UCLA MFA Writing Program.
