She heads the non-profit organization Centre for Civil Liberties and is a campaigner for democratic reforms in her country and across the world. Matviichuk leads the Center for Civil Liberties, an organization in Kyiv that shared the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize for its “outstanding effort to document war crimes, human right abuses and the abuse of power.”
