Bride Wars (2009)

We're kicking off our first wedding month —that's right, we're doing all wedding-themed movies (who are we?)—with Bride Wars, a 2009 friend-com that stars two childhood besties (Kate Hudson, Anne Hathaway) who declare war on each other when they end up booking their weddings on the same date. Costume designer Karen Patch (whose work we discussed on our recent Royal Tenenbaums episode) tapped Vera Wang (OBV) for the gowns, and since it's 2009 we get a lot of big belts and big tote bags!
