Bridging the Gap: Uniting Church and Business for God's Kingdom

Matt Wagner believes that the future of ministry involves blending the realms of church and business to fulfill God’s calling in new and transformative ways. He shares his journey of learning to embrace both his talents in church leadership and business entrepreneurship. Matt felt a calling to plant churches early in life, but church planting proved financially difficult, leading him to venture into business. He started a roofing company, which grew rapidly. Eventually, he expanded into custom home building. It was a busy life, and he felt the disconnect between the church and the business world. Yet he felt God wouldn’t let him stop the business and grew in his conviction that God doesn’t want a divide between church and business. Instead that they should join hands in building God’s Kingdom.
