As the dawning of the day moves us from darkness to light. So will the entrance of God's word lighten up your life. Stay tuned for the teaching ministry of Charlotte Father, as she presents this life with bringing to light ministries. Today is your day for victory in Jesus.
It's a good day to you. I'm glad that you have tuned in to our bringing to light to program. You know, I don't know if you've thought about it, but I want you to know this is an exciting time to be alive. You may be thinking about Charlotte.
There is so much trouble. There is so much sin in the earth. It's not going that well for me. And I do understand that there are a lot of problems and there's a lot of things and there's a lot of darkness.
But I want you to know, I believe that this is the season of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. I believe this is the season for revival. I believe this is the time for a turnaround like the church has never seen before. So don't you get weary in well doing.
Listen, if you will, to this special message that Shontai is going to share with you in just a moment, it'll bless you. Hello, I'm Shontai Hoffman. There was no greater love than the love from our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. We know in John 3 16 says, for God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.
In verse 17 it says that God did not come to condemn the world, but to come to love us and to give His life for us. We know in Romans in chapter 10 and verse 9 it says that if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord. And believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. You will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified and is with your mouth that you confess that you are saved. God wants you to give your life to Him today. He loves you so much. And there is nothing like knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord.
He will give you that peace and that joy in your heart that you need. And it promises us that He will give us eternal life. And we know in Ephesians it says Ephesians chapter 2 and verse 8, where it is by grace you have been saved. Through faith, and this is not from yourself, it is the gift of God.
It's nothing that we can do in ourself and who we are. But this is a gift that God has given to us, that we can have eternal life. And it's by His grace and His love. Please pray a prayer with me today and ask Jesus to be your Lord and to be your Savior.
Father, we come to you in Jesus' name. And Father, I come and I ask you to be my Lord, to be my Savior. I ask you to cleanse me and purify me from all sin. I ask you to forgive me for anything all that I have done.
And Lord, I ask you to come into my heart to be my Lord and to be my Savior. In Jesus' holy name, amen. We'll praise the Lord. We know in verse 13 of Romans 9 it says, Call upon the Lord and you will be saved.
So as you have called upon the Lord today, I believe that you have received Jesus and you have been saved. And that you will spend eternity in heaven with me. We'll praise the Lord. Please call or write to us and let us know what God has done for you today.
Thank you. We'll praise the Lord. I know that that blessed you. You know, we're going to begin a series today.
And we're going to call it preparing your self for revival. I know I have been ministering this for the majority of my life. I've been preaching this. And I know that sometimes we hear the word revival.
And we think about a series of meetings, church gatherings that we might have. I know my dad, he would have revivals. And I know that daddy would preach. And there would be other ministers that would come in and they would preach.
And it was always a glorious time in the Lord. We saw people born again. We saw people come back to the Lord. And so we had some glorious times in those revivals.
But this revival that I've been preaching about for many, many years is going to be different than just a series of meetings. You know, daddy would get on his calendar and he would decide when we were going to have revival at our church. This is not something a man or woman boy or girl could plan. This revival that we're talking about is a working of the Holy Spirit.
Now I do believe there are things that can push that revival forward. And I believe there are things that can hinder revival. In other words, the things that God wants to do during this last day revival, I believe is going to have a lot to do with the church praying and interceding. I believe that it's going to have a lot to do with the people of God repenting of their sin, turning unto God, praying and interceding.
I believe that's where God is going to move in again for this last day revival. It's not time to look down and defeat, but it's time to lift your head. Look unto the Lord and rejoice in him of the things that's getting ready to take place. I believe not only in the United States of America, but the nations at large.
Yes, there is trouble and there is sin like I have never seen before. There are things going on that I know in America we would have never dreamed that these things would have come to our nation. The dark is dark, but I want you to know, I believe the light, according to scripture, is going to get brighter and lighter. And we're going to see the multitude flow in design.
We're going to see the miraculous. You think that the book of Acts was glorious. Let me tell you, this move of the Spirit of God is going to be greater than anything that we've read about, that we've experienced. I believe it is coming.
But are you ready? What can you do? What can I do to prepare for this revival? You know, when we think about preparation for something, let's take, for example, a storm.
Let's say they've picked up a horrific storm that is coming. How would I prepare for the storm? Well, you know, they may start telling us you need to board up your windows. They may tell you that if there's waters around you need to get those sandbags so that those waters will not rush over the banks and into your homes.
It may be that you want to leave your home and go to where it's going to be safe. You want to make a way for the animals to be safe. There's many things that we do to prepare for a storm. Let's say this.
If I was going to have a party in my home, or you were, there would be things that I would prepare to do. But you know, in both instances, I have to believe that an event is coming. Why would I prepare for a storm unless I believe there is a storm that is coming? The same thing with preparing for a party.
You know, I want to make sure my house is in order. I want to make sure the invitations has been sent out. I want to make sure that there are foods that's going to be prepared and ready to serve. There are things that we do to prepare for an event.
And I do believe with all of my heart, there is going to be this revival that is going to come. We have to begin by thinking at my church, a revival in my city, a revival in the United States of America, a revival around our globe. And I'm believing that that is an event that is surely coming to pass. But what can I do to prepare for that?
That's what I want us to be looking at in this teaching that we are doing right now. I want us to prepare for the glory of the Lord to come in like never before. I want us to prepare for the multitudes that is going to be born again. You know, when we begin to think of that, I want you to look in your heart right now at your church.
Do you have those people in order to help minister to those who will come in? Those that need to be born again? Do we know the word of God concerning salvation? Could you lead somebody to Jesus?
Do you know how to lead them in repentance before God? Do you know what to say? What scriptures to show concerning healing? We need to be prepared and ready.
I know for me, many years ago, when I was really looking at the things of God and seeing the promises of God, I began to make those notes in the back of my Bible that when I needed to minister to somebody, I would be prepared and I would be ready. So that is something I've been doing through the years. Of course, I still feel like there's so little that I know when I look at the vastness of who our God is and what his word decrees and declares. But I remember practicing the word of God.
I remember practicing leading somebody to Jesus, practicing leading somebody back to the Lord that they had been away from him. And I wanted to be excellent as God is excellent in through me that I would be a vessel that he could work in and through. But yes, there are things that we can do. Now, let me say this.
Ultimately, it is God who brings the revival. I can't make a revival happen and neither can you. There are things that we can do as far as praying and interceding. The Bible says you have not because you've asked night.
We're going to look at some passages here that talks about, I believe, the revival. The last day, revival, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. And if I truly believe that this event is coming, God prepare me for this event. What does the word say?
Well, we talked about study to show yourself, approve, know what the scripture says that you are ready from God to minister through you. But then pray. Let us ask God for this last night revival. Let's begin to thank him and praise him for this revival.
There are many that are not born again. They do not know Jesus Christ as the Lord of their life. Now, I'm not going to wait for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit to be evangelistic. I believe we ever need to be praying and interceding for the last.
We know that many have been saved and I believe that many will be saved. But I'm just wanting the anticipation to be in your heart for what I believe God wants to do in these last days. So I'm trusting that you are praying. I pray God send both labors across their path to minister to them.
God, give them understanding of truth. God, I pray that they will not operate in a religious spirit, that they're only doing the things that they've seen or heard that has to do with Christianity. But yet it becomes a religion to them. It's not a heart encounter with the Almighty God.
Let me tell you, he wants to move more than we want him to. So let us prepare. Let us be ready. You know, some of the promises that we see in the Word of God is in Acts chapter 2, verse 17 and 18.
And here's what the scripture says, and it shall come to pass in the last day, saith God. I will pour out of my spirit, upon all flesh. Notice that, upon all flesh, and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams. And on my servants and on my hand-maiden's, I will pour out in those days of my spirit, and they shall prophesy.
Now here are many promises right here of some of the things that's going to take place. Notice that says in the last days, these things will happen. God says, I will pour out of my spirit. Notice again, upon all flesh, it did not just say, on the born again.
Can you imagine when the Spirit of God comes down, upon a lost man, an or woman, a young person, when the Spirit of God is poured out upon them, if they have never been born again, the very presence of God is poured out upon them. The very presence of God is going to burst something in them that's going to allow them to have that liberty, if you will, to call upon the name of the Lord. Can you see why that multitudes will flow into Zion, to the church? There is going to be such a move of the Spirit of God that things are going to happen.
You know, I don't know your experiences, but I know when I've just been, this has happened to me, but I was prising and worshiping the Lord. And all at once the Spirit of God came upon me, and I don't mind telling you as far as I knew, my life was right with Jesus. But when I was under that presence, that presence of God, who is holy, came down upon me, I felt unclean before the Lord. And I began to weep before God.
I sit down in my seat, and I was reaching out to my husband's arm, and I was weeping before the Lord. I mean, his presence was up on me in a strong way. Well, it was finally where I could stand up. And I mean, I was saying, Lord, wash me in your blood, cleanse me afresh in a nooth.
But there was someone who came and got me that was in the altar and said, you are to be ministering up here. You're to minister to the people. Well, I went up and I mean, the presence of God was so strong upon me, I could hardly stand. There were people that was literally holding me up as I prayed over people, as I prevailed over people.
I don't know how many I prayed for, but let me tell you glorious things began to take place. I had planned on that. I just know when the glory came up on me, yes, the very presence of God, there was an anointing. We know Scripture says it's the anointing that destroys the yoke.
So people that came up that was yoked with sickness and disease, they came up and they was yoked by worry or depression or anxiety. It was broken off of individuals. Why? Because the anointing of God was there and people recognized that.
If that would happen to me, who is already born again, as far as I knew, my life was right with Jesus. Can you imagine the presence of God coming up on all flesh and they realize that they are lost and they are undone and they are standing in the midst of a holy God? Let me tell you, they're going to want to desire the Lord. They're going to realize that they're in sin.
They are undone and they need the experience of the new birth. So we have glorious things that's going to be in store for us. So yes, again, we know that the Spirit is going to be poured out on all flesh, sons and daughters shall prophesy and your young men shall see visions. Let's think about it.
There is the Spirit of Prophecy. We hear the word prophets. But when we think about prophecy, this is something that is declared about the future. And it can operate with a sense of knowledge, the word of knowledge, the word of wisdom.
But it's something that's going to bring, if you will, lifting up to others. There was somebody that came into one of the services that I attend and the word of the Lord came to me. And I began to prophesy. And there was a couple that came into our church.
And they heard that word. Well, it was for them. I had no idea of knowing that. But they went to some of the other people and they said, who told her about our situation?
They said, well, nobody told her. Well, they had to have told her because that word that she spoke is exactly what we're dealing with. Well, obviously God knows what all of us are dealing with. God already knows all things that concerned us.
So if we can imagine our sons and daughters prophesying, let me tell you, the word of the Lord is going to flow through individuals that's going to minister to other people. It's going to be a word that will minister to their heart. It's going to help them to see that God does know them, that God is listening to them, and God wants to move in their lives. So this is going to be a glorious thing.
And your young men shall see visions. I did this more in the earlier days of my life, but I remember when I would pray and intercede, I would have a vision. It wasn't like something would be across a screen at a theater. But I would even have my eyes closed, but I would begin to see things.
And some of those things I knew about the spirit that I was to pray and to intercede about. And some of those where I was to war against demonic forces that would try to work in different situations. Sometimes it was just the Lord wanted me to dig into that truth that came forth in my heart or that vision that he gave to me, because it's something he wanted me to minister. So visions are very important, and God does give visions.
So we want to be sensitive about what God is saying to let me assure you. There's not going to be a vision that is contrary to the word of God. It's going to line up with scripture. God wants to use that again, either to minister to us.
What he's saying, what he's doing, how he wants us to pray, what he wants us to teach. But maybe even as I will share a vision, it can be a word of encouragement to somebody that may very well be dealing with what that vision was about. So visions are very important. Notice this part.
An old man shot dream dreams. And you know a lot of people will come to me and talk to me about their dreams. Some of it may not be a spiritual dream. I believe that dreams can come in different ways.
But this is talking about a spiritual dream. God has revealed things to me with a dream. Let me just share one with you right now. I had dreamed that I was walking through like a riverbed.
And when I looked down, the ground was dry and it was parched. And you could tell there hadn't been any water in that riverbed for a long time. But as I began to look at the ground, all at once I looked and there was waters that began to come up from the ground. It was filling those cracks and then it began to flood over.
And before you know the water was getting deeper and deeper and deeper. And we know the scripture that talks about there's waters that are ankle deep. It may be knee deep and then it may be on up as it gets deeper. And then there's waters to swim in.
And we know that we can move from point A to point B a lot quicker if we're in the flow of water. Well, you see, this is what the spirit of God was showing me that there is going to be an outpouring of the Holy Spirit. And there were going to be floods of water that was going to move and carry people in the glorious things that God had in store for them. Same thing happened when we went to Toronto, the Toronto Revival.
I had my eyes closed, I was worshiping and I had a vision. And I saw a flood of water that began to be poured forth and it poured into the earth. And I knew the waters was getting deeper. Let me say this, the presence of God is going to be poured out again.
Like never before. There's going to be the waters that's going to carry us into God's perfect will and God's plan. So I began to study about the water. I began to study about the rivers and I saw it all the scripture.
We will look at some of that later. But you know, when I went to Israel, what amazed me is you would look out and you would see the desert. But there would be trees that would be growing right there in the desert and they would be hanging full of fruit. I remember seeing one of the trees and it had nets underneath it to catch the fruit that would fall there.
It happened to be a day tree. And I began to think that is so scriptural. The wilderness is going to break forth and it is going to bloom and it's going to bud. And you know where there has been the desert, there's been the dry and the parched land.
You just watch and see there is going to be the rain of the spirit, the pouring out of God's spirit. And we're going to enjoy the fruit there. So I'm excited about the hour that we live in and on my servants and on my headmaidens. I will pour out in those days of my spirit and they shall prophesy.
So God wants to pour out of his spirit. Now the spirit is in the earth. We know that happened on the day of Pentecost. If you're born again today, we know the spirit of God is on the inside of you.
I believe there is an infillent of the Holy Spirit. And I'm trusting that you have enjoyed that, that you have your prayer language and God is using you in a greater way. You know, again, my dad was a pastor and I was born again at the age of nine. But you know, I was an adult before I really learned about the infillent of the Holy Spirit.
My life was forever changed when I was filled with Holy Ghost. That's when I knew that God's hand was upon me. That's when I knew that I was called into ministry. The Word of God came alive to me.
I was able to pray like I'd never been able to pray before. Why? Because I can only pray with an understanding to a particular place. But when I'm filled with the Holy Ghost, I have the Holy Spirit who knows all things and he will pray through me the very will of God into a situation.
So I pray in tongues more than I pray in English. I believe in that the very things that we are looking at right now in this series is I pray in the Holy Ghost. We are going to begin to see things manifest in our personal lives, in our family, in our city at large. So be expecting this revival.
Make sure your life is pure and holy. Prepare for these glorious things that God wants to do. You know, this is an exciting time like I've already stated and I give God the praise and the glory for allowing me to be here to minister to you. And you may have tuned in today and you just feel as dead as you can be.
Well, I just want to encourage you first of all, make sure that your life is right with Jesus. Make sure that you have repented of your sin. I'm trusting you're born again, that you've asked Jesus to come into your heart, to be your Lord and to be your Savior. Be about what He's called you to do.
Be faithful in your church attendance. Some people say, I don't have to go to church. The Bible says, for big not. Be a singling of yourselves together.
I want to encourage you to be in the house of the Lord. I believe Jesus is coming soon, but as I've said so often, I do believe there's going to be a last day revival. Be prepared and ready. If revival hit this next Sunday, for example, are you ready to see the multitude come to Jesus?
Do you have people ready to lead them to the Lord? I'm trusting that you do. I'm trusting that you are ready because let me tell you, this is the season. This is the time.
So I am so grateful that God is allowing us to share these truths with you. Let me say, be right into us. Let us know what God is doing in you and for you. That's all the time we have, but until next time may God bless you, and I love you.
I love you all. Hello, I'm Shante Hoffman. Are you in an area in your life where you need a healing or a touch from the Lord? God wants to touch your body or to just even touch you emotionally and give you his peace that passes all understanding.
We know that the Bible gives us many promises of God's healing power. And Isaiah 53, in verse 4, it says, He was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him.
And with his stripes, we are healed. I believe that God wants to touch you today in a mighty way. We believe in God's Word and in his promises. And I feel that we can just hold fast to his promises every day and to speak his Word.
I know that when my little boy was sick, that I just spoke the word over him and I said, Micah, you will live and not die and you will declare the works of the Lord. And I know that the Word is not God. I know that the Word says that Jesus, He sent His Word, and Jesus is the Word. God sent His Word to heal all of us from our sicknesses and diseases.
Can I pray with you today that God will touch your body wherever you are? The promise says that He will bring us peace. And it says that God even bore the grief and sorrow that you may have today, that God wants to touch you mentally, physically, spiritually and every way. Let's pray.
Father, we just come to you, Lord, in the precious name of Jesus. And Father, I thank you for my brother and my sister today. Father, wherever they are, God, we are. I thank you for my brother and my sister today.
Father, wherever they are, God, you know their need. And Father, I'm asking of you to touch their bodies. Lord, to minister peace, enjoy and shrink to their hearts today. Father, I thank you for healing in their bodies, that we can just hold fast to your promises that by Jesus' straps, we are healed, and we are whole.
And Father, we thank you for your healing in my brother and sister today. Father, just touch their bodies by your power and by your might. And Father, we thank you for it, that they are healed and they are whole. In Jesus' holy name, amen.
We'll praise God. Please write to us their call and let us know what God has done for you today. And I'm believing in us, staying fast, in prayer for your healing, and from a touch from the Lord. Amen.
