Hello, I'm Shante Hotman. There was no greater love than the love from our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. We know in John 3 16 says, for God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. In verse 17 it says that, God did not come to condemn the world, but to come to love us and to give His life for us.

We know in Romans in chapter 10 and verse 9 it says that, God wants you to give your life to Him today. He loves you so much, and there is nothing like knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord. He will give you that peace and that joy in your heart that you need and it promises us that He will give us eternal life. And we know in Ephesians it says, Ephesians chapter 2 and verse 8, 8, for it is by grace you have been saved through faith.

And this is not from yourself, it is the gift of God. It's nothing that we can do in ourself and who we are. But this is a gift that God has given to us, that we can have eternal life. And it's by His grace and His love.

Please pray a prayer with me today and ask Jesus to be your Lord and to be your Savior. Father, we come to you in Jesus' name. And Father, I come and I ask you to be my Lord, to be my Savior. I ask you to cleanse me and purify me from all sin.

I ask you to forgive me for anything all that I have done. And Lord, I ask you to come into my heart, to be my Lord and to be my Savior. In Jesus' holy name, amen. We'll praise the Lord.

We know in verse 13 of Romans 9, it says, Call upon the Lord and you will be saved. So as you have called upon the Lord today, I believe that you have received Jesus and you have been saved and that you will spend eternity in heaven with me. We'll praise the Lord. Please call or write to us and let us know what God has done for you today.

Thank you. As the dawning of the day moves us from darkness to light. So will the entrance of God's word, lighten up your life. Stay tuned for the teaching ministry of Charlotte Father, as she presents this light with bringing to light ministries.

Today is your day for victory in Jesus. Good day listeners. It is a blessing to be able to share the word of God with you today. I'm Chantay Hochman, Charlotte Father's daughter.

And it is a joy to be here today and to have this opportunity to share the word of God. The Lord has laid a special word upon my heart that He is wanting us to rise up in His victory today and throughout our lives that we can walk in the victory of Jesus Christ. There is a word that I believe the Lord has laid in my heart. Today I was praying and spending time with the Lord.

And the Lord just revealed this special story to me. It's in Exodus in 17 and verse eight. And I'm just going to read the story. And then we're going to see what God has been to hearts through it.

In verse eight it says, then came Amalek and fought with Israel in refedim. And Moses sent it to Joshua. Choose us, out men, and get out, fight with Amalek. And tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.

And this is Moses speaking. And so Joshua did, as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and her went up to the top of the hill. And it came to pass when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed.

And when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed. But Moses's hands were heavy. And they took a stone and put it under him. And he sat there on.

And Aaron and her stayed up his hands. And one on the one side and the other on the other side. And his hands were steady until the going down of the sun. And Joshua discomfitted Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

And the Lord sent it to Moses right this for a memorial in a book and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven. And Moses built an altar and called it the name of Jehovah Nissi. For he said, because the Lord had sworn that the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation. And it's interesting to see here that we know that the enemy came in against Israel.

And Joshua began to get the men together in battle to come against Amalek. But we know that God was on Israel's side, of course. But it was interesting to see that as Moses was holding up his hand with the rod of God, he became weary. And he became so weak that he couldn't even hold his hands up anymore.

But whenever his hands went down, the Amalek began to prevail against Israel. So that her and Aaron knew that if they didn't do something to help Moses, that Amalek would destroy Israel. But God used Aaron and her to help lift up Moses's arms in this battle. So you can kind of see how that sometimes in the body of Christ we were talking in another session that we as God's children, as we even the leaders of God, sometimes we do grow weary or we have weaknesses.

And we all know that we have our own weaknesses. But the Bible says that in our greatest weakness, that God, he is made strong. And so we know too that in this situation that God used Aaron and her to help lift up Moses's arms because they were so tired he couldn't lift him up. But when they lifted them back up, that Israel began to prevail and they defeated Amalek.

And so I think this story is so wonderful to see. And it's so symbolic of us today as the body of Christ and as believers that as we come together that in our, sometimes our leaders or those that are just working in the body of Christ doing the work that God's called and to do, you know, sometimes we get tired. Sometimes we need an encouraging word. Sometimes we may feel discouraged and feel like God's not here in my prayers or this is not happening the way I think it should be happening.

But you know, God, he holds the plans for our future. He knows the plans for you. He knows the plans that he has for you. And the Bible says their plans to prosper you, to give you a hope and a future.

But there's some days that maybe we feel down and discouraged and the enemy tries to come in and to bring us that discouragement or that fear and oppression or depression. But we know that Jesus inside of us, that we can come against the enemy and that he has no place in our lives, that we can walk in that peace, that peace that passes all understanding and that joy of the Lord. But you know, sometimes it's hard on our own that if we try, if we pray and we're seeking the face and sometimes we might not just can get past our weariness or our frustrations. But you know, that's when us, the body of Christ can come together and help each other out and the family of God can come and help each other.

So I think it's so interesting to see, you know, Aaron was Moses's brother and he was there even when God told Moses to speak to Pharaoh and Moses was like, I can't talk, I stutter and I can't talk to Pharaoh. And but God was calling him too, but he said, Lord just use Aaron. So Aaron was right there to help him, even in that weakness where he knew he would stutter to Pharaoh, but he knew Aaron could give the words clearly. So it's just within us in the body of Christ as a family, that was his natural brother, his natural family.

But even in her was just a friend and they worked together that as Aaron and her came and picked up Moses's arms, they set a rock there so he could sit and that he could hold his arms up until the battle was over and the Israel defeated Amalek and Israel won, the victory. And so I believe too, it's significant that Moses had the rod, the staff and we know in Psalms 23, it talks about the Lord is my shepherd and that I shall not want and that he may give me lie down in green pastures, he leadeth me beside the still waters, he restored my soul, he leadeth me in the past of righteousness for his namesake, yay, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. So here we see that we know the Lord is our shepherd, he's compared to the shepherd that takes care of the sheep, the flock and they compare the staff that the shepherd holds as a comfort that knowing that that shepherd at any time could use that staff to come against the predators that come in and that the sheep can be comforted. So we know that Jesus is our shepherd, he's the good shepherd and that we know that he protects us, that no matter what comes our way that God, he has defeated the enemy already and that we have the power in the name of Jesus that can come against the attacks of the enemy that would try to seek to destroy us or our families.

But see here Moses, when he goes up into the mountain, he is standing above the battle and watching the battle, but he takes the rod that God used throughout the story and he takes the rod which is the comfort, which represents God and I think it's so neat that he has to have that rod held up high the whole time, but then when it drops down with his hands that the enemy prevails, his companions came and held him up that rod can stand strong. And here too it represents that God, he is always in intercession for us, he is always praying for us and he is always there for us to hear our prayers, to hear us and he's there to help us in our time of need. And I just think that the Lord, he is always faithful. And when the battle does come and the enemy tries to come in like a flood, we know that God, he is raising up a standard against the enemy.

And I believe that God has set his angels charge over us to protect us, to lead and God and direct us through the Holy Spirit and that the angels can be ministering spirits to us, the angels, I know when Jesus was fasting for 40 days and the devil came to try to tempt him after the fast that Jesus rebuked the enemy and spoke the word against him. But then when the devil left that the angels came and ministered to Jesus. And I think that's so neat how the angels were there to minister to Jesus. Jesus was so weak in his fasting and the attack of the enemy that he needed the angels to minister to him as he was here on earth as human.

And so how much more do we, God's children when the enemy tries to come in to attack or to speak laws to us how that we need, we know we have the Holy Spirit living in us, that great power, but also that I believe the angels can come and minister to us in our need. But I wanted to just talk about how after the Israelites defeated Amalek that Moses built an altar and they called it Jehovah Nissi. And that means the banner of God, Jehovah meaning God, and Nissi is banner. And I know the scripture says the banner over me is love.

And we think of banners and you wave your flags and your banners in victory when you have one that we have the victory in Jesus Christ that he has given us the victory through Jesus Christ. And we just, I think this is just significant here that it shows that they had the victory and they could raise that banner and that victory, representing the victory through God who won the battle for Israel. And we know that God did Amalek work. Let's read Ecclesiastes 4, and it talks about, I know many times people refer to this as like a marriage couple and through Jesus, but it says in chapter four and verse 12 of Ecclesiastes, and if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him and three fold cord is not quickly broken.

So a lot of times in marriage you say that you come together with your mate and then Jesus is the third cord that holds you together as one. And so even through the body of Christ, we talked about how the body of Christ is one that we come together. So that if we sing in just one person, like we are working and we are doing the work that God's called us to do, but we can't win the whole world to Jesus by just one person. I know there's been many evangelists and Billy Graham and many, many, many, many, men and women of God that God has raised up and used mightily in many souls that have been brought to the kingdom of God through that one individual life.

But you know, they didn't do it on their own, of course, through the power of God doing the work, but they had their family, they had supporters in the church helping them, praying and interceding for them, providing for them. And so that is how awesome the body of Christ is that we can come together and we can help each other in our prayer time, our intercession, praying for our leaders. And just as Moses came up on the mountain, that God called him to go forth, but you know, he didn't go alone. He went with her and Aaron and they were there and they didn't help Moses at first.

But all of a sudden when Moses became so weak, he couldn't keep his arms up and he knew he had to be able to win this battle. But there they were, he didn't have to ask them, come over here and help me, but they were quick to respond and meet that need where there was a need. So that's how God wants us to be, that you may be a Moses, you may be a mighty evangelist or a pastor, and you are doing all that you can do for the kingdom of God. But you know, you can't do it on your own and you know that you need the prayers of the saints to help you.

And even Paul and his writings would say, please pray for me, pray for my protection, pray for my boldness. And that's how it is with us as the body is, we need to be praying for our leaders in those positions. But you also may be an Aaron or her, and you may be on the sidelines just saying, you know, what's my part in all of this, or what does God call me to do? And you may be there taking care of the pastor's child, you may be there cleaning the dirty diapers, but whatever it may be, we are all important.

God has given us an integral part in the body of Christ, that we have a position in the body of Christ where he has called us, no matter what it may be. We may be right there, ready to help our pastor when he is going through a situation with his family or just growing weary, that we can be there and be an encouragement and tell him how much a blessing he is to our family, or to be able to provide, or to give a need in the church, or whatever that may be that we are all called. And I believe that as we are open to the spirit of God that he would lead you and he would guide you and what the calling or the area that he has called you into. But we can look back and ecclesiastes four and how the three-strand core cannot easily be broken.

So that if it's just the one, or sometimes just two, it's good to have two, and God told us to go to minister and be witnesses with two, not just one. But we can even know that the third party, or even if God is the third cord, that it can't easily be broken, when the enemy tries to come in, that we can stand strong as the body of Christ in praying and unity and standing firm and fast in that cord cannot easily be broken, that we know that we can be a streak to our leaders and that we can help them when they are in need. And even the other, not even a leader, but those in our church that are maybe going through a situation and that just needs a phone call, or that just needs maybe some financial help. And if you have the extra that you can be able to meet their need at that time, whatever, maybe they need groceries.

And whatever it is that we can just feel that void for that person, and we know that the Bible talks about when those who weep, we can weep with them, and if they're hurting, that we can hurt for them, and that we know how Jesus, he was touched with the feelings of our infirmities, but that how God can use us, that we can reach out to people and help them in their time of need. I know I always refer back to when we were at the hospital with Micah and his heart surgery, but while we were there, we got some horrific news, and it just sounded that either Micah wasn't gonna make it or that he was gonna have some brain damage. And it was so devastating to our hearts that we didn't know where to turn or what to do. Of course, I had talked about how my mom and my grandmother and my family were there to help and to pray for us and to read the word, but it was just, it was perfect timing because as soon as we got the bad news about Micah, that our pastor from our church called my husband, and it was just right after that.

I mean, my husband had walked out of the hospital and just very discouraged and hurt in his heart and thinking that our son might not be able to be able to think correctly and live a normal life. And so during that time, our pastor from our church called him. He had no idea what the news we just got. He knew we were at the hospital, but it was just that perfect timing that my husband needed to hear his voice and he needed a prayer and he needed an encouraging word.

And you know the results of Micah, that God raised him up and that he is doing great. And he's just a normal little nine-year-old boy, so God has touched him and protected his little brain. But during that time, it's like God put us on our pastor's heart. It was like in that perfect timing.

And sometimes maybe you're praying or maybe even God wakes you up during the night and you just see a picture of a friend or a picture in your mind of someone. And that's usually not just coincidence. It's usually when God is saying, you need to call them or you need to be praying for them or just check on them. And so many times that has happened and that I've seen somebody, I've started praying or call them and just check on them that they needed something or they needed prayer.

They just needed encouraging word. And that's how God works in the body. That when one is weak, the other can be strong and we can lift each other's arms up and help each other and take each other and lift each other up to the throne room of God and say, you know, our brother, our sister here, really needs to touch God and we can be right there by their side to help them in our weakness that we know God is strong but that God can use others to lift us up. But we wanna just read here in Hebrews in chapter 12.

It says, wherefore seeing we also, or come best about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every way and the sin would just so easily beset us and let us run with patience, the rays that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, the spies of the shame and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. So we know that this verse is talking about looking unto Jesus. So then when there are times when we are running, we're running this race with patience and waiting upon the Lord, that we get so distracted by maybe those things that are coming against us, so the enemy is trying to come against us with the lies and the fear or the worry or sickness or whatever it may be, but that God, he wants us to look unto him. And he says, looking to Jesus, the author and the finisher of our faith, he is the beginning and he is the end.

He knows, he knows even before you were formed in your mother's womb, he died on the cross for you and he knew you and knows everything about you, knows how many hairs are on your head. And he is going to take care of you into the end. And we know that the end is eternity through Jesus Christ and we look forward to that day. And we as God's children, as the body of Christ come together, that we can be excited for the day, that in times that when Jesus is coming back for his children, that he is coming back soon.

And you may be listening today and you may not know the Lord as your Savior. You may have never asked Jesus to become your Lord. The Bible says, all you have to do is call on the name of the Lord and you will be saved. So right now where you are, if you don't know the Lord, you can just say, God, I need you.

And you have to believe in your heart that Jesus was raised from the dead, that God's in his only son, Jesus. And Jesus died for you so that you can be free from all your sins and infirmities. But God, he gave his life for you, that you can live. And not only that we can have life more abundantly on this earth, but that we can have eternal life with Jesus forever and ever and ever.

And our minds can't even comprehend that, that we look forward to the day of his soon return, that if he may tear you that we die, as we know that when we die that we can be with the Lord forever and ever. So I just encourage you today just to pray that prayer of salvation and just ask God to come in your heart that you believe and that he will save you and that you can have eternity forever and that you can be a part of this body of Christ that we're talking about, that you don't have to be alone anymore, that you can know that the body of Christ can come together. And as we are awakening in the spirit of God, as we are coming together in one accord and following the heart of God, following what God is saying that we can help each other in our time of need as God is always faithful there to help us in our time of need. So I just enjoyed sharing the word of God with you.

And I just pray that the Lord will bless you today in Jesus name. Hello, I'm Shante Hoffman. Are you in an area in your life where you need a healing or a touch from the Lord? God wants to touch your body or to just even touch you emotionally and give you his peace that passes all understanding.

We know that the Bible gives us many promises of God's healing power. And Isaiah 53 and verse four, it says, surely he had born our griefs and carried our sorrows. Yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions.

He was bruised for our iniquities. The chastisement of our peace was upon him. And with his stripes, we are healed. I believe that God wants to touch you today in a mighty way.

We believe in God's word and in his promises. And I feel that we can just hold fast to his promises every day and to speak his word. I know that when my little boy was sick, that I just spoke the word over him and I said, Micah, you will live and not die and you will declare the words to the Lord. And I know that the word says that Jesus, he sent his word and Jesus is the word.

God sent his word to heal all of us from our sicknesses and diseases. Can I pray with you today that God will touch your body? Wherever you are, the promise says that he will bring us peace. And it says that God, he will bore the grief and the sorrow that you may have today, that God wants to touch you mentally, physically, spiritually and every way.

Let's pray. Father, we just come to you, Lord, in the precious name of Jesus. And Father, I thank you for my brother and my sister today. Father, wherever they are, God, you know their need.

And Father, I'm asking of you to touch their bodies. Lord, to minister peace, enjoy and shrink to their hearts today. Father, I thank you for our healing in their bodies that we can just hold fast to your promises that by Jesus' drops we are healed and we are whole. And Father, we thank you for your healing in my brother and sister today.

Father, just touch their bodies by your power and by your might. And Father, we thank you for it that they are healed and they are whole in Jesus' holy name. Amen, we'll praise God. Please write to us their call and let us know what God has done for you today.

And I'm believing and I stand fast in prayer for your healing and from a touch from the Lord. Amen.
