On today's show, we discuss Broken girl broken woman. A live recording from our Mother 2 Mother workshop. Some abused women try using drugs, alcohol, smoking, or overeating to cope, but this can lead to greater physical and emotional problems. Many survivors’ lives are characterized by frequent crises e.g. job disappointments, relocations, failed relationships and financial setbacks. Many are the result of unresolved childhood abuse issues. Many survivors function in ‘crisis mode’, responding with stopgap measures which don't resolve the underlying issues.
