FALSE BROTHERHOODIn Scripture, brotherhood is rooted in covenantrelationship under God — a shared faith, shared mission, and shared allegiance to the Lord.First, we explore the brotherhood of David & Jonathan –Their covenant was selfless, God-centered, and built on mutual love, trust, and loyalty (1 Samuel 18:1-4).We also explore the brotherhood of the 12 Disciples. However, we must be mindful to watch out for: False brotherhoods,often bound by:False brotherhoods mimic the language of loyalty and unity,but they replace God’s authority with human control.Journal Prompt: Is my allegiance rooted in God's Kingdom or in man's control?
