Welcome to The Grace and Peace of God: LoveWins! podcast.We’ve already explored systems of belonging, identity, and allegiance — how people attach themselves to communities, causes, and covenants. In past episodes, we’ve seen how these systems can either align with God’s Kingdom orpull us away from it.Today, we’re going deeper. We’re going to talk about brotherhoods— both the biblical kind and the counterfeit kind. We’ll also look at secrecy, allegiance, spiritual bloodlines, and how even our last names and family histories can connect us to blessings or battles we didn’t realize we were in.1. FALSE BROTHERHOODIn Scripture, brotherhood is rooted in covenantrelationship under God — a shared faith, shared mission, and shared allegiance to the Lord.First, we explore the brotherhood of David & Jonathan –Their covenant was selfless, God-centered, and built on mutual love, trust, and loyalty (1 Samuel 18:1-4).We also explore the brotherhood of the 12 Disciples.
