Hoy, nos acercamos a la celebración del Día del Músico que se lleva a cabo todos los 22 de noviembre en honor a Santa Cecilia. Esta mártir cristiana fue retratada en el siglo XV con instrumentos musicales en sus manos y las primeras celebraciones de esta fecha se remontan al Edimburgo de 1695. Posteriormente se unieron a las celebraciones países como Alemania, España y Francia. En América Latina, Brasil, fue uno de los países pioneros en celebrar este día comenzando entre 1919 o 1920, extendiéndose posteriormente al resto de los países iberoamericanos. A continuación escucharemos como antesala al recuerdo de esta festividad el Adagio Lamentoso del compositor portugués Bruno M. Miranda interpretado por el Quinteto de cuerdas Virtuosi de la Filarmónica de Berlín.
