In November 2022, four University of Idaho students — Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin — were stabbed to death in their off-campus house in Moscow, Idaho. Bryan Kohberger, a criminology PhD student, was arrested six weeks later. Last summer, he pleaded guilty to all four murders and was sentenced to four consecutive life terms.
