The randomized, multicenre study shows, that among patients with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, a previously implanted pacemaker or ICD, and a significant RV pacing burden, upgrading to cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator provides statistically significant and clinically relevant improvement in clinical outcomes vs. continuing with standard ICD therapy.
