Buddhist Truth Bombs: Ancient Wisdom from Buddha

from Holistic Hatha Yoga

Send us Fan MailIn today's episode, I go back to my Eastern philosophy roots that got me into yoga in the first place, Buddhist philosophy. Some people may call this Buddhism, however that sounds like a religion, which Gautama Buddha strictly advised against, hence I use the term "Buddhist philosophy" as I find it more accurate. There is so much golden wisdom to behold within Eastern philosophy, this episode really only grazes the surface. If it sparks something within you, I highly suggest diving deeper on your own accord through books and audio books. Also, never forget that the wisdom you seek is also within you, if you just sit long enough to notice it.The book I'm referencing here is The Dhammapada (The Buddha's Path of Truth). I have the kindle version, you can find that here. Bonus, it's only $1.00 for the ebook version! The book I have is translated by F. Max Muller, however I'm sure any translation will be beautiful and enlightening. I don't get any commission from the sale of this book lol. Just spreading the good word. Interested in diving deeper?
