Building A Legacy with Morgan Dufault

from Fit For Motherhood

In this week's episode we are joined by Morgan Dufault.  Morgan is a 28 year old Enneagram 6 (wing 5) living in the sticks of Minnesota with her husband of four years, Sam and their two daughters—Harlyn (2.5), and Florence (Flora) (5 months), their dog, Mia, and 5 chickens.  She is passionate about all things "crunchy", her faith, and cultivating a foundational home-front that was different from that in which she grew up in. Since the beginning of her relationship with her husband, God impressed the word "legacy" on both their hearts, as they both come from two very broken families. It is their desire to break generational un-health and create a new legacy for their kids & the generations after them. Morgan's life motto is "beauty from ashes" as she believes that's a great depiction of what the Holy Spirit has done with her life. She believes in sharing our stories, we have the power to impact others' lives through our vulnerability.  We talked with Morgan about her estranged relationship with her mother and when she has learned and taken from that relationship and how she is changing the narrative with her own daughters. We talked about how therapy and her relationship with God have helped her heal and why sourdough bread makes her happy.
