Chris then discusses the vision behind Lifestyle International Realty, which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary. When asked about his approach to growth at the Broadway office, Maurice explains the importance of "leading by example" and "walking the walk, talking the talk." He explains that agents naturally gravitate toward leaders who demonstrate results and remain active in the business while managing it. "We're still in the trenches, we're still producing at a very high level," Maurice notes, adding that agents want to learn from accomplished professionals who are achieving what they aspire to do. Maurice shares his passionate approach to serving clients at all price points, from luxury homes to first-time buyers. "It's really about helping people, really being passionate about what you do," he says. Maurice emphasizes finding value in the process rather than just the outcome: "The real value is in the process. And I think that's with anything in life, it's the journey of it." This mindset allows him to enjoy helping clients regardless of price point.On evaluating talent, Maurice looks primarily for initiative: "If they're gonna do anything with what you're giving them... you can lead a horse or whatever, but you can't make them drink." He believes in providing resources and support, but needs to see candidates meet him halfway by demonstrating their commitment.Chris discusses the company's expansion, including the upcoming launch in Denver, Colorado. He attributes their growth success to finding the right leadership partners in each market who can identify opportunities and build effective teams. Lifestyle International Realty currently boasts 35 offices, over 3,200 agents across six states, and an international presence in the Dominican Republic, Colombia, and Puerto Rico.Both partners defend the importance of brick-and-mortar offices despite industry trends toward virtual operations. Chris explains, "The hands-on brick and mortar will never die because that's where everybody really knows that the magic happens." He highlights how in-person environments facilitate deal-making through relationships and off-market opportunities. Maurice adds that removing physical spaces diminishes the relationship-building component essential to real estate success: "Real estate is a relationship-based business.
