Çocuk yayıncılığı ile dolu bir eve doğmasına ve matbaa kokusunu daha küçücük yaşında öğrenmesine rağmen, kendi yolunu, üzerinde hiç baskı hissetmeden çizmiş bir işkadını. Burcu, Marsık Yayınevi ile Yalvaç Abi kitabevinin hem kurucusu hem de yöneticisi. Burcu Ural Kopan ile çocuk kitabı nedir, ne değildirden başladık, çocuklarda okuma kültürü nasıl oluşturulur ile devam ettik. Eskiden, “Tommiks Teksas okuma çocuum” denilip hepimizin kitap arasında gizli okuduğumuz, şimdi Laylu’nun favorisi olan çizgi romanlara da değdik.
