Starbucks Ramsbottom Opens You might have not noticed, but Starbucks has now opened its doors. I asked the opinion of the This is Rammy audience for their thoughts. In this podcast episode I chat about one in particular which actually made me realise that Starbucks, might not actually be the bad thing some are expecting. Starbucks opening hours are: 6.30am – 9pm Monday to Friday 7am-9pm on Saturday 8am-9pm on Sunday Bury Book Buddies Launches Whilst on Facebook I came across a post in a local group by local resident Emma Davies. She has set up a group which is a little like Rammy Rocks, without the artistic requirement. Bury Book Buddies aims to provide some excitement in finding books that have been hidden around the town. Red Express will become hourly during the daytime As I wrote last week, the Ramsbottom to Manchester bus route, Red Express is now going to be hourly outside of peak hours. The Major reopens under new management I wasn’t expecting it to be quite this fast, but popular public house, The Major has re-opened as of the 2nd of August. New landlord Douglas Lingard and his wife June are quoted in the Bury Times saying: We are really looking forward to meeting new people and getting back into the brewery again. We are aiming for it to be a community pub. 12:13 – Ramsbottom Cricket News: 🏏 Ramsbottom win Junior Cup On Saturday August 3rd the Junior 2nd team clinched their 13th Junior Cup with an emphatic victory over visitors Crompton.
