William shares his early life growing up on the Peak in Hong Kong before travelling to the UK to attend Millfield School and later studying Accountancy and Business Management. He made many friends many of whom he remains in contact with today.  William's grandmother, who set up many homes for the elderly and the disabled was an inspiration to him. His idea was to help a handful of scholars who themselves could bring change. William tells this story in the podcast. How from small beginnings he has helped more than 60 scholars over a 30-year period. Scholars who themselves are “Paying Forward” in an ever-growing network. William is widely recognized as the figurehead of KMB (Kowloon Motor Bus), a venture started by his great grandfather. Transporting 2.8m people across Hong Kong on a daily basis.  His main job in KMB is to keep the staff happy. His grandfather passed away aged 50y and his father passed away at the tender age 49y. This has shaped William’s health journey. William embodies the principles of thriving in midlife and beyond. He shares his own practices in the podcast offering actionable strategies to enhance physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
