Maybe you envision your relationship in a particular way. Even in the face of extreme challenges, by doing what it takes, you will have the momentum to live full out. Our first caller, Francis, is a recent engineering graduate and is struggling at finding a job. He asks Nancy how he should approach this. Nancy suggests that he find his “unique selling point” and to ask others in the engineering field for advice. Tune in to hear how you can do what it takes to find that first job. Our second caller, Indu, always planned on becoming a programmer like her parents. However, in college she struggled with her computer science classes and feels lost because of this. Nancy advises her to follow her passions, try different occupations, and embrace taking risks. Listen in to hear how doing what it takes means finding your own path in life. Our inspirational guest, Jason Schechterle’s life completely changed on the night of March 26th, 2001. Traveling at over 100 miles per hour, a taxicab crashed into the rear end of Jason’s patrol car. The car burst into flames, and trapped him inside. Through a series of miraculous and fateful circumstances, Jason survived the crash and ensuing physical and emotional catastrophe. He suffered severe burns, and had to endure over 50 surgeries in order to have the ability to accomplish simple daily tasks. Listen in to hear Jason’s amazing story as he overcame this major life setback by doing what it takes to succeed. Our final caller, Jaren, wants to broaden his horizons and travel more. But the comforts that his small town affords has caused him to feel complacent. Jaren asks Nancy for motivation in order to push him to get out of his routine. Nancy encourages Jaren to release the obligations that are holding him back. Tune in to hear how figuring out what it takes can motivate you to go after your dreams.
