By His Grace: Beyond Expectations (with Claudia & Naomi)

Welcome to our new monthly (ish) segment of Trust The Process. We are your hosts, Claudia and Naomi, two friends walking in faith together, who hope to captivate you with our conversation. In this new segment we'll be praying together; sharing how God is moving in our lives; reflecting on how Jesus has shown us the true path in recent experiences; scripture that has captured us; insights that have humbled us and the raw reality of our faith, as best as we can. Today we’re reflecting on a couple of seemingly unrelated experiences that had occurred to me this week, resulting in feelings of expectations being unmet as well as disappointment. Throughout this conversation, we felt so reminded of the ‘unfailing love’ (mentioned countless times in the Bible) that always leads to needs being met, expectations being surpassed and any notion of disappointment being blown out of the water. We also touched on the power of being read by scripture, i.e. having scripture read you rather than you reading it and how living in the Word of God evokes this effortlessly; the mighty power of prayer and how the fusion of these two aspects of Christian life brings us closer to Jesus, the Human Being and the connection to the Father, and thus to ourselves.
