from You're Working Too Hard · host Maria and Natasha

Send us Fan MailThis week, Maria talks to Sharon Kiely - a career, executive and life coach for high achievers - about how black and white thinking can scare us out of making the changes we are craving, how to navigate impostor syndrome as a high achiever, and how approaching challenges can be so much easier if we do it with a playful mindset.Sharon is a full time certified coach specializing in career, executive and life coaching. She coaches 1:1 and in groups. Her coaching practice spans across the US, Europe and Mexico. Initially, Sharon worked as an Internist focused on primary & preventive care, medical education and care to underserved groups. She believes that systems, and what we do directly impacts the results we experience- and optimistically believes that change and improvement is always an option. Sharon was selected as a White House Fellow and learned how to apply policy to systems and improve people's lives. Later, as a healthcare executive- chief quality officer, chief medical officer and chief wellness officer- she worked to change systems toward improved outcomes for patients, by focusing on those who deliver the care including physicians, clinicians, leaders and staff. As a chief wellness officer during the Covid pandemic, she trained and certified as a coach to help more people, faster and with more clarity. Her approach to coaching clients is holistic, taking into view their goals in the context of their full lives, and applying evidence-based practices to coaching.
