Café Müller, obra maestra de la bailarina y coreógrafa alemana Pina Bausch, creada en 1978. Es una pieza minimalista, realizada por seis bailarines. El escenario muestra un lugar gris y desnudo que sólo cuenta con decenas de mesas y sillas. Los actores y los bailarines tratan de encontrarse. Café Müller es pura tristeza, cuarenta y cinco minutos de pura melancolía. Es el único capítulo en la historia del Tanztheater Wuppertal en el que Pina Bausch baila. Ni antes ni después volvió a aparecer en sus montajes. Contando con el reciente estreno de Pina 3D, película de Wim Wenders, se "visitó" el Café Müller, la obra y su creadora, entrevistando además a Jorge Puerta Armenta, integrante de la compañía de Pina Bausch, con sede en la ciudad de Wuppertal (Alemania), desde hace 14 años y también participó en una escena de la película de Almodóvar “Hable con ella”. De allí, también entonces al vínculo entre este director , la propia Pina y Mazurca Fogo. Las protagonistas de la obra, son también las sillas y existe en España una exposición que repasa los modelos de sillas más reseñables del siglo XX. La muestra “El asiento como arquitectura y la arquitectura como asiento” presenta diseños de varios países (sobre todo nórdicos) recogidos por los arquitectos Luis Gil y Cristina Nieto, a lo largo de 15 años.
