Call of Cthulhu - Self Help Part 3

Madam Blanca (Fortune Teller) – Dani Rock Garrett (PI) – Neil Henry Livingston (Professor) – John Keeper of Arcane Lore – Kevin Rock heads out to do surveillance on the downtown salon. When he arrives he sees a woman leaving and decides not to follow her. Instead he sneaks up to investigate the house, which by some strange twist of fate is left unlocked. The house is sparsely furnished with paintings of woodland scenes covering the walls as well as Venus style statues. Meanwhile Madam Blanca and Henry head over to the library to investigate cults. They make a little bit of headway and Madam Blanca tells Henry to grab today’s paper. As Henry is grabbing the paper Rock comes in. Rock tells them about the house and Madam Blanca explains that she thinks Jennifer is the priestess of an earth goddess cult. She shows them the paper and says there seems to be a confluence tonight between the lunar cycle and the season. With that they head back to Henry’s house to gear up and grab snacks before heading out into the woods. They are able top find the clearing from Rock’s dreams and as they get closer they hear a woman chanting. When she sees them the woman disappears as a Dark Young takes shape. There’s lots of shooting and san checks. Are our investigators victorious?
