In this episode, Luke Beastall discusses Lakin's journey from being an experienced Carpenter/ joiner at the age of 15 to adventuring into the world of fitness as a personal trainer and now running his own business.In this conversation, Lakin opens up about his own drive to always want to be self-employed, the adversities and challenges he had faced to pursue that, and how, at one moment in his life, he juggled multiple jobs that led him to complete burnout.Callum Lakin also talks about the time he moved to Bali and how being there for a year had drawn a deep awakening within him. This led him to reinvent the wheel to pursue something in the creative sphere and escape that " mental cage" he was once in. This creative edge led him to explore his love for videography and photography and, at his core, remain self-employed.Lakin believes that anyone can learn a trade or become self-employed. It's about refining the skills and giving opportunities to expand on them.
