Can We Be Our Own Villain??

We see tons of content on Emotional Intelligence, controlling our thoughts and emotions, being more "conscious"... we know this is good so why can't we do it sometimes?? Because most of us were taught the opposite- "look what YOU made me do!" from parents and caregivers growing up- That the OUTside environment causes OUR emotions... By re-training our brain to catch and control the "Interpretation Filter" step in an event,  WE control the emotional response and that leads to how we see EVERYTHING else. Real-life ways to apply this and teach ourselves and our kids that we are not victim to circumstance, we are CREATORS.
