Chatting with Trevor was an absolute blast! We had such a great time talking about his incredible voice—he truly has that perfect radio/TV sound. Not only is Trevor refreshingly down-to-earth, but he's also hilariously funny. He’s authored two poetry books and has exciting plans for his career ahead. For a bit of background, Trevor W. Harrison is a retired sociology professor from the University of Lethbridge, renowned for his insightful work in political sociology, political economy, and public policy. He has penned, co-authored, or co-edited twelve books, including a prior poetry collection, alongside countless journal articles, chapters, and reports. Plus, he frequently shares his expertise in the public media space, including both radio and television. Trevor's poetry collection, "Poetry Without Borders," showcases him as a prominent political sociologist and public intellectual. In this thought-provoking compilation, he delves into themes of memory, regret, nature, and loss through a series of previously unpublished poems crafted over several decades. With a blend of wry humor and playful insight, these pieces invite readers to contemplate their own life experiences.In addition, Trevor's other collection, "War And Other Inconveniences," features a mix of poems penned since 2020 alongside five older works.
