Leger Polling recently asked Canadians if they considered the United States an enemy - and a surprising number of people (30%) responded “yes”. The continued and erratic threats and tariffs coming from south of the border have been raining chaos on the Canadian economy. Meanwhile in Canada, we had a first ministers meeting that is easily the most successful in the past decade. We could be witnessing the erasure of inter-provincial trade barriers.
