Cancer Trials Ireland - The Ability Show 18/06/26

from Ros FM 94.6 · host ROS FM

Clinical trials help medical professionals to find better ways to prevent cancer, to detect it earlier, to treat it with new therapies, and to improve quality of life for cancer patients, so as part of Cancer Trials Ireland’s annual campaign to encourage greater discussion between doctors and patients about available clinical trials, they hosted an online event for people with cancer on 22nd May entitled “Let’s Talk Trials”. Adrianne speaks here with Emer Mulvaney, Contracts and Public & Patient Involvement Programme Manager about this event, which can be viewed on www.cancertrials.ie/letstalktrials/ and about people getting involved in cancer trials around the country. To find information on all the cancer clinical trials currently taking place in Ireland visit www.cancertrials.ie or call the Irish Cancer Society’s FREE Nurseline on Freephone 1800 200 700.
