The year was 1982, in the dead of winter... Capt. John Bayliss of The Tarheel (and now owner of Bayliss Boatworks) decided that after the sport fishing season was over he was going to start ocean gillnet fishing, or "drop netting" to make extra money that winter. Capt. Marty agreed to be his mate, much like he was during the summer on The Tarheel. These are two totally different fisheries at different times of the year and the tension got pretty high between the two best friends... I'll let the Captain tell you the rest...
