Carbs Are NOT The Enemy- This Is

from Her Weight Loss Mindset | Lose Weight, Meal Prep, Healthy Habits, and Workouts · host Lindy Schlabach - Christian Mindset & Weight Loss Coach

Eating whole foods from the ground is key; beans, legumes, rice, potatoes, quinoa, whole grains, these are the key to energy in your life. How to tell if a processed food is healthy: Look at the grams of carbs per serving. There should be at least 1 gram of fiber per 10 grams of carbs. The sugar grams should be LESS than the fiber and if there’s protein, that’s a bonus.Daily: aim for 4-6 cups of veggies daily, 3-4 cups of fruit, and 150- 200ish grams of carbs to start. Carbs are full of fiber and a woman’s daily need for fiber is 25grams.Father, thank You for the gift of food, for delicious carbohydrates You placed on the Earth. Help me to not live in fear of food Lord but to trust in Your abundant provision. Help me to know what foods benefit me and which ones don’t regardless of what the world says. I want to live for You alone. Show me how to eat Lord and forgive me when I look for the quick fix or covet someone else’s results. Help me to see what You’re doing in my life and thank You for loving me as I am as I work to be who You’ve called me to be. I love You Father and it’s in Your Son’s Name I pray, Amen. Are you sick of trying diet after diet and NOT losing weight?Hey there friend, I'm Lindy Schlabach, Christian Fitness & Nutrition Coach.
