There’s the good: a bulked-up Marvin Harrison Jr. sounding more confident than he was a year ago at this time, Trey McBride landing on the NFL Top 100 list, and Jonathan Gannon excited about the competition at a number of different spots. But the guys start with the bad, the unfortunate news that three players – Bilal Nichols, BJ Ojulari, and Walter Nolen III – will not be on the field, at least not quite yet. Nichols and Ojulari are still rehabbing injuries from last season.
