A year ago, Cars Commerce, best known for its Cars.com retail platform, took a big step into the wholesale sector by acquiring dealer-to-dealer digital auction Dealer Club, a deal CEO Alex Vetter said “closes the loop” between the retail and wholesale worlds through its technology.
