Regarding the remaining issues, the court affirmed that the bankruptcy court possessed subject-matter jurisdiction over “core” claims arising from the bankruptcy petition and validly exercised ancillary jurisdiction to resolve non-core claims pursuant to a stipulation retaining jurisdiction. The court further affirmed the district court’s imposition of Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 11 sanctions against the appellants, ruling that the district court did not abuse its discretion in deeming the appellants’ motion for clarification frivolous given the clarity of the remand order.
