The Town of Callicoon has been in litigation with a church out of Queens and has to pay back some taxes the church paid while litigating they should have been exempt due to their tax status. A contract to sell land by the Monticello Racetrack has been signed to bring 100 workforce housing units to Sullivan County. The SUNY school system has announced its Advancing Success in Associate Pathways (ASAP) is being expanded to SUNY Sullivan along with five others.The MainStage season begins at the Forestburgh Playhouse for its 80th anniversary.
