At least three people were killed Monday following a shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego. A fast-moving brush fire fueled by strong winds tore through Simi Valley, California, scorching more than 700 acres, destroying structures and forcing evacuations near schools. And, an American doctor working with a medical missionary organization in the Democratic Republic of the Congo has tested positive for Ebola and was being taken to Germany for treatment. The WHO declared the outbreak a global health emergency.
