చదువు, కాలేజ్, అసైన్‌మెంట్స్, పరీక్షలు… ఇలా విద్యార్థి జీవితంలో ఎన్నో బాధ్యతలు ఉన్నా, సమాజం కోసం కూడా ఏదైనా చేయాలని ఆలోచించారు కొంత మంది విద్యార్థులు.ఆ ఆలోచనే.. 2016లో Sreenidhi Cancer Foundationగా మారింది. అప్పటి నుంచి క్యాన్సర్‌ బాధితులకు అండగా నిలుస్తూ, యువతను సేవా కార్యక్రమాల్లో భాగం చేసేందుకు ఎన్నో కార్యక్రమాలను నిర్వహిస్తున్నారు…!బ్లడ్‌ డొనేషన్‌ క్యాంప్స్‌, స్టెమ్‌ సెల్‌ డొనేషన్‌, క్యాన్సర్‌ స్క్రీనింగ్‌ క్యాంప్స్‌, అవేర్‌నెస్‌ వాక్స్‌తో పాటు… ఆసుపత్రుల్లో చికిత్స పొందుతున్న చిన్నారుల కోసం Make-A-Wish అనే కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసి, వారి కోరికలను నెరవేరుస్తూ, ఆనందాన్ని అందించే ప్రయత్నం చేస్తున్నారు.చదువుతో పాటు సేవా కార్యక్రమాలకు కూడా సమయం కేటాయిస్తూ… “సమయం లేదు” అని ఆగిపోకుండా, ఒకసారి ముందుకొచ్చి చూస్తే మనం చేయగలిగింది ఎంతో ఉంటుంది అని యువతకు చెబుతున్నారు.ఒక చిన్న ఆలోచన ఎలా ఒక సేవా సంస్థగా మారింది? విద్యార్థులుగా ఉంటూనే ఈ సేవా ప్రయాణాన్ని ఎలా కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు? క్యాన్సర్‌ బాధితుల కోసం వారు చేస్తున్న కార్యక్రమాలు ఏంటి? ఇలాంటి ఎన్నో విషయాలను ఈ పాడ్కాస్ట్ లో మనతో పంచుకున్నారు… Sreenidhi Cancer Foundation President చరణ్ గారు!తప్పకుండా వినండి… మిస్ అవ్వకండి!Student life comes with many responsibilities… studies, college, assignments, exams and more. Yet, a few students also wanted to do something meaningful for society.That thought eventually turned into the Sreenidhi Cancer Foundation in 2016. Since then, the foundation has been supporting cancer patients and encouraging young people to take part in social service through various initiatives.From blood donation and stem cell donation drives to cancer screening camps and awareness walks, they have been working to create greater awareness and support for those affected by cancer. They also started Make-A-Wish, an initiative to fulfil the wishes of children undergoing cancer treatment in hospitals and bring some happiness into their lives.While continuing their education, these young volunteers are also making time for social service and showing others that “I don’t have time” doesn’t have to stop us from making a difference.How did a small idea turn into a service organisation?
