Il y a un mois, Richard, client, m'a envoyé un email écrit par quelqu'un de Marketo, une société Adobe, admettant ce que mes clients connaissent depuis longtemps, mais qui reste un mystère pour les grands fans de la technologie qui pensent qu’ils peuvent «se débrouiller» pour faire plus de ventes, obtenir un engagement plus important, gagner plus de lecteurs, etc. Voici une citation de l’email qu’il a envoyé: “En fin de compte, nous avons constaté que le fait de centrer un abonné sur un email à lien unique basé sur du texte, produisait un nombre de clics plus élevé sur l'appel à l'action.” Alors tu en dis quoi? Ça sent les lois du marketing par réponse directe – comme ne vendre qu’un seul objet à la fois, créer du marketing tels que les enseignements du grand Gary Halbert (personnels et non “de marque”), etc. – fonctionnent de la même manière en ligne et hors ligne, dans le marketing, pour tous types de business. Quoi qu’il en soit, bonne nouvelle pour les hommes des cavernes. Et aussi une bonne nouvelle pour les grands fans de technologie. A condition d’ouvrir ces esprits fermés. Concentre toi sur les fondamentaux plutôt que sur les sifflements musicaux et jolies lumières que tu vois dans le casino des goo-roo.
