Celebrating Crown Day!

Following the 13th state passing of the historic CROWN Act to end hair discrimination, Cathleen Trigg-Jones, sits down with Esi Eggleston Bracey, Chief Operating Officer EVP & COO of Beauty and Personal Care at Unilever Global, and founding member of the CROWN Coalition. During the episode, Bracey briefs viewers on details of the 2nd annual National Crown Day, a now virtual event to help celebrate Black hair independence. The CROWN Act, which stands for Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair, prohibits discrimination based on hair texture and hairstyle.
