Celebrating Title IX & Its Impact

The over turning of Roe v. Wade leaves us wondering about the future of women’s rights in America, but there is still room to celebrate the good things that have been happening to move toward gender equality. Governor Kathy Hochul may be New York’s very first elected female governor and we just celebrated the 50th anniversary of the passage of Title IX, the legislation that made discrimination on the basis of sex illegal. Plus, an update on WNBA star Brittney Griner, who was arrested in Russia in February and has been detained there since awaiting trial.
