Celebrating Women in Music: Basadi in Music Awards 2026 - 28 August 2026

Manaileng Maphike, Advisory Board Member of the Basadi in Music Awards, joins us to discuss the fifth edition of BIMA 2026. She highlights the theme “REWIND Your BIMA, Your Way,” the significance of celebrating women in the music and entertainment industry, and the Vanguard Awards, which recognise women working behind the scenes. She also shares what audiences can look forward to from this year’s awards and why platforms like BIMA are important in recognising the contributions of women in South Africa.
