The Best Ever You Show welcomes Challen Cates. Challen portrays the role of “Mrs. Knight,” mother to the hockey-playing, reluctant boy band member “Kendall,” and his younger sister Katie. The series focuses on the misadventures of four hockey players from Minnesota, who discover themselves in Hollywood, CA as a new hot boy band. ‘Momma Knight,’ as she’s affectionately called on the show, is playful, yet instills good values in her kids and even though often get into trouble get up to some crazy shenanigans, they always ultimately do the right thing. In addition to appearing in four BIG TIME RUSH films, Challen had a recurring role on NBC’s hit daytime drama PASSIONS in addition to appearances in several award winning independent films and television series’; more recently being seen on DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, CRIMINAL MINDS, CSI: NY, MONK and Lifetime’s MISSING. The Roanoke, Virginia native grew up on her family’s farm and developed a passion for riding horses, wine tasting, reading, food and photography. After graduating from the University of Georgia, she fervently packed her bags and made her way to Atlanta where she booked her first big role on NBC’s critically- acclaimed series, IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT.
