Changing the Status Quo ft. Bethany Huang

Currently a student at the University of California, Irvine, Bethany is a political science and music double major. Bethany recently ran for Irvine Unified School District Board of Education in  the 2020 general elections, making her the youngest candidate to ever  run for that position. She also started playing the piano at the age of  6, and recently appeared on the 2020 Graduate Together Show, hosted by Lebron James and featuring appearances from President Barack Obama. She  has also been featured on news networks such as CBS and KCAL-9. Bethany performed as an exhibitor guest for the Pearl River Piano Group at the National Association of Music Merchants Show, and  was named an Orange  County Register Artist of the Year semifinalist.  Hear us talk about mental health struggles throughout high school, along with the stress of college applications and being a young leader.
