Chants of Sennaar (2023): What's UpPeople?

Have you ever played the tutorial of a game and gone, "damn, this is gonna slap?" Chants of Sennaar pulls off a magic trick right from the jump, not only inviting the player to manually type in what they think a symbol might mean in a language they cannot understand, but also providing a generous mechanic for the player to "lock in" the correct definition to help with future puzzles. It's a mechanic Feather deliberately avoided participating in, and, she might have been right?   in this episode: language is fascinating, will takes on languages, stupid feather bullshit, stealth sections, note taking, an amalgamation of words, nuance in language, the place of up, a perfectly cromulent sentence, a super rosetta stone, the end of the onion, feather's hubris, so many apples   ~shoutouts zone~ Apple Rankings by Brian Frange Appalachian Apple Hunter Rescues 'Lost' Varieties   ~~~ Our theme music is Glass Half Full by the incredible Cliff, you can find him on Bandcamp!
