About Ashley Anne: Ashley Anne, a 20-year-old country singer and songwriter from Virginia Beach, Virginia, has quickly made a name for herself in the music industry. At the age of 18, she relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, to pursue her passion for country music and songwriting. Ashley Anne's journey began with her breakout single, "dear dolly," which she wrote at the age of 17. As a natural storyteller, she draws inspiration from her own life experiences, crafting songs that reflect what she has seen and lived. Her heartfelt lyrics and relatable narratives aim to connect with listeners on a profound level, making them feel understood and valued. “Dear Dolly the EP” stems from a really authentic, raw, vulnerable place in my heart. Beginning with “Dear Dolly”, a song I wrote when I was 17, it introduces the project as a starting point to my career, the song that changed everything," explains Ashley. "As you go through the songs, it takes you through my journey as an artist this last year. With each song weighing heavy on who I am as a person, how I love (or don't hahaha), my morals, my perspectives, and my outlook.
