About Avry Truex: Up-and-coming singer-songwriter from New England, Avry Truex has crafted a sound all of his own by merging genres such as Country, Folk, Americana, and Grass Roots. Avry first moved to Nashville, TN living out of his car in late March of 23’ and has since moved permanently in January 24’Truex wrote every one of his songs, which all have a strong emphasis on storytelling. Some of his greatest influences are John Prine, Townes Van Zandt, Woody Guthrie, Marty Robbins, Colter Wall, and Sturgill Simpson. He writes very often, so keeping songwriting as one of the main focuses would be great!His song “Nowhere” was released on June 28th. The upbeat track is entirely penned by Avry and gives listeners an opportunity to explore more of his free-spirited side, which yearns to enjoy the serenity of living for the moment wherever life takes him instead of living an ordinary lifestyle. Avry recorded a 16-song album with Pat Lyons in February of 24’, in the next month Avry plans to release three singles. The full-length album, "Pine Tree Poetry", will be released later this year.Through his heartfelt lyrics, soulful melodies, and intricate instrumentation, the project leaves a lasting impact, encouraging listeners to delve deeper into their inner selves and the world around them.
